The main character of the game [[off (game)|OFF]]. His skin is entirely [[white_skin|white]], and he wears an old [[baseball uniform]], with a black [[baseball_cap|cap]] sometimes hiding his eyes, and fights with a metallic [[baseball_bat|bat]]. Some character interpretations depict him as having [[extra_eyes|four eyes]]. His hair is not shown, but it's supposed he has black hair. Is often followed by floating circles, referencing his ingame add-ons and referred to as his "Party", and strongly opposes ghosts. His goal is the purification of the world. [spoiler] It's eventually revealed that his "purification" is essentially the end of the world, as every area that he cleansed is left white and empty, with only a few exceptions, leaving demons behind but killing almost all the population. It's also revealed that he's not human, and it's explained he acts out of free will. By the end of the game, the player gets the choice to support the Batter in his last fight or to betray him, causing the Batter's appearance to change from an emotionless man to a giant humanoid abomination with a elongated mouth. This form is known as "Bad Batter." [/spoiler] Due to his actions, he's sometimes associated with [[chara (undertale)|Chara]] from [i][[Undertale]][/i], even if he has different reasons, seeing his actions as a mercy killing, compared to Chara's sadistic tendencies.
